We pride ourselves on offering spotless accommodation at all times, however with the presence of Covid-19, we have put in place additional cleaning on top of our normal thorough cleaning routine.
We are paying particular attention to disinfecting with Health Grade Anti-viral disinfectant as much as we can after our general clean, to help protect our guests as much as possible. However, we obviously cannot offer any certain guarantee there is no risk at all.
Our additional cleaning routine will now involve:
Disinfecting all high touch areas with Healthcare grade Anti-viral Disinfectant.
These include:
Removal of Items difficult to Disinfect/Sanitize
Items that would prove difficult to disinfect/sanitize between changeovers will be removed from the cottages. We hope this won’t spoil your holiday in any way.
These items include:
Bed Linen
As COVID-19 is transmitted by virus droplets that are expelled when someone coughs, sneezes or speaks, we feel the pillows are at the highest risk of transmitting the virus. We have therefore decided we will only be supplying one pillow per guest. If you feel you would definitely require two pillows, please let us know before you arrive, or alternatively you are welcome to bring your own. This is to allow us to rotate pillows between sets of guests to minimize the risk.
You are welcome to bring your own linen/duvets/pillows if you prefer, but please let us know beforehand.
Laundry
All our laundry including towels and T-towels will continue to be washed at 60 degrees and air dried when possible. All bedding is also steam ironed.
Our Welcome Folder/Cream Teas
We have also decided not to leave our welcome folder in the cottages. All information regarding your stay will now be emailed to guests prior to arrival. All other information normally available in our welcome folders, will be available in various places on our website.
As part of our welcome package, we usually supply a cream tea for each guest. We would like to continue this, but understand that many guests may be unsure about consuming food made by someone else. We will therefore be asking guests to conduct their own risk assessment on this and confirm if they wish us to supply our cream teas before arrival to minimize waste. All our scones are home made as is our jam, but the cream and milk are obviously shop bought.
With all these additional procedures in place, we hope we can mitigate the risk of transmitting COVID-19 between our guests and that we can put your minds at rest that we have done everything we can to achieve this. However, we obviously cannot guarantee we are COVID free.
