In order to comply with Government Guidelines once re-open, like all businesses, we have completed a thorough Risk Assessment and put in place Additional Cleaning Routines and Guest Protocols along with Caveats to our Terms & Conditions (see drop down menu). We hope these procedures will protect both our guests and our housekeeper, but we cannot guarantee a COVID free environment (no one can sadly!)
The very nature of leaving the safety of your own home and travelling to North Devon to enjoy a holiday will mean you will already be making your own calculated risks. By sharing our COVID-19 policies with you, we hope this will then give you the opportunity to do your own risk assessment and decide whether our standards are good enough for you and your family.
To help you make this decision, we are pleased to announce that the procedures we have put in place mean we have acquired the Industry Standard mark for self catering accommodation which means we are following government and industry COVID19 guidelines with a Risk Assessment and a process in place to maintain cleanliness and social distancing.
We’re also mindful that the Covid situation is constantly changing. Under 'normal' circumstances we advice our guests to take out holiday insurance to cover all eventualities, however, it appears most insurance policies are no longer covering for the fallout of a pandemic.
