In a different location to Nutcombe Cottages but still in Combe Martin is Elsley; a spacious, three-bedroom bungalow situated in the heart of the village and only a gentle, three minute stroll to the cove at Combe Martin with its beach-side pubs, restaurants and shops. Elsley is south facing with a large enclosed garden and ample parking, sleeping 6 in two King size rooms and a single/twin room. Its location makes it the perfect base for exploring everything that the local area has to offer.
Although Elsley is equipped for families, it also makes the perfect base for couples and is ideal for those with slight disabilities or the elderly. Please note we do not allow dogs at Elsley.
Elsley comprises of:
Entrance Hall: Entry to the bungalow is up two small risers with grab rails into the entrance hall with polished pine floorboards and a marble topped sideboard and coat rack. All rooms lead off the hallway as follows:
Kitchen/diner: The kitchen/diner is a large double aspect room with views over the front garden and is equipped with a large fridge/freezer, freestanding ceramic hob and electric fan oven, microwave, kettle, toaster and washing machine. There is a large table with plenty of space to seat six which also extends if more space is required.
Just outside the back door off the kitchen is a small utility area with a Tumble Dryer and space for recycling and refuse.
The lounge: A bright sunny, south facing room with a three-seater and a two-seater sofa with a large foot stool; perfect for cozy nights in watching the Smart Freeview TV or a DVD or read a book from our small collection. There is also a coffee table and a dresser where you will find puzzles and family games. For parties of six, there is the option of placing the tub chair from the smaller bedroom for extra seating if required.
The master bedroom: A spacious bedroom with ample storage in a large double, built in wardrobe, solid oak chest of drawers, dressing table and bedside cabinets. Sink into our pocket sprung mattress with memory foam topper on the Victorian style wrought iron king size bed or relax in a lovely bedroom chair overlooking the garden.
The second bedroom: At the rear of the bungalow there is another king size room again with a pocket sprung mattress with memory foam topper set on a solid pine king size base. The room is beautifully furnished with a large solid oak wardrobe with drawers, a chest of drawers, dressing table and bedside cabinets.
The single/twin room: Set at the rear of the property with views over the rear garden. Our single room has the option of being set out as a single room or a twin room, making it very versatile for extended families. There is a large chest of drawers for storage and a tub chair when used as a single.
Bathroom and toilet: The toilet is separate from the bathroom which is equipped with a full size bath with overhead shower.
Central Heating and WiFi: Elsley has full gas fired central heating with unlimited free WiFi.
Linen: We supply fresh crisp linen for all beds but please note guests are asked to supply their own towels and T-towels.
Outside Space: Elsley has its own fully enclosed south facing front garden with a porch area by the front door which is a real sun trap. There is dining furniture for alfresco dining as well as a rear garden. A perfect spot to sit and watch the world go by and enjoy the sunshine. The private driveway has parking for at least three cars.
Family Friendly: We have available on request a full-size travel cot together with a highchair for our younger visitors.
Dogs: I’m afraid we do not accept dogs at Elsley.
Changeover Day: Our changeover day for Elsley is a Saturday all year round.

We will hold the property for seven days while we await your 30% deposit. Our preferred method of payment is via bank transfer, although we do accept cheques. We do not accept card payments for Elsley.
Following receipt of the booking form and deposit, we will send a confirmation email as formal acceptance of your booking.
